Helping Our Women

Helping Our Women is a nonprofit resource center serving women living with chronic or serious health conditions in the rural towns of the Outer Cape, from Eastham to Provincetown, Massachusetts. Since 1993, the organization has provided transportation to medical appointments, financial assistance, access to food and personal care products, and programs that foster wellness and connection. Rooted in compassion, dignity, and advocacy, Helping Our Women is a trusted presence in the community and a vital support system for those it serves.

To support this mission, the design team developed a comprehensive communication system to expand outreach, strengthen engagement, and ensure visual consistency across platforms. The work included a detailed social media strategy outlining key goals, target audiences, and a content structure supported by a three-month calendar organized around weekly themes such as Motivational Monday and Support Us Saturday.

The final deliverables included a suite of Canva-based templates and designed posts featuring testimonials, wellness tips, donor and volunteer highlights, and awareness campaigns focused on Endometriosis, ALS, Mental Health, Earth Day, and Women’s History Month. A branded PowerPoint template and print-ready newsletter layout were also created to support ongoing outreach. With these tools in place, Helping Our Women is equipped to share its mission more effectively, expand its visibility, and deepen its impact across the Outer Cape.
